Come discover the long history and tradition of English brewing. From mild to old ale, brown ale, bitters, porters and stouts. We will travel the English countryside, explore charming villages, and the bustling city of London. We will visit some of the oldest Independent breweries as well as enjoy real ale in some of Englands most historical pubs.

After our overnight flight to Heathrow we will drive to the Royal Standard of England for a welcome lunch. For over 900 years this hostelry has been giving shelter and hospitality to the wayfarer making it one of the oldest pubs in the UK. After lunch we will drive for about 1 hour the Hook Norton brewery. One of the last remaining Victorian tower breweries dating from 1849. Overnight in a local Inn.
After a hearty English breakfast we will drive for about 1.5 hours to the famous Bull and Bladder/The Vine Inn Batham's brewery tap. Bathams Bitter is regarding as one of the finest in the country. We will then make a stop at the Holdens brewery tap house before driving to Burton upon Trent. Know for its brewing heritage and once home to a dozen breweries it was once the brewing capital of Great Britain. Today there are 5 breweries and several traditional pubs. We will start at Marston's established in 1834. We will then check into our hotel before we explore several brewery taps and pubs.
Today we will head to the Nottingham, the land of Robin Hood and several of Englands oldest Inns. Here we can explore some of the historical sights while enjoying Pints at Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem est.1189, Ye Old Salutation set 1240, the Bell Inn set 1437. We will also drop into other brewery tap rooms along the way.
Today we will head south to London. Dropping our vehicle off at the airport, we will take the train into the heart of London where we will have lunch at Ye Olde Cheshire Cheese est. 1538 rebuilt in 1667 after the Great Fire of London1666. One of the only Sam Smith brewery pubs we may enjoy. This afternoon explore London on your own in the evening we will do a historic pub crawl.
Today you can have a free morning to explore London before we head to the Great British Beer Festival. After the fest we will have a trip farewell dinner and explore more of Londons legendary pubs and brewery taps.
Depart for home.
